Welcome! This blog is from and about Roseboom, a small town in Otsego County, New York; a place that’s right next to Cherry Valley and not far from Cooperstown. We think it’s a great place to live, especially if you want good neighbors, natural surroundings, and a rural pace of life; all without going too far off the beaten track.
We will try to keep this blog fresh with new posts whenever we get a chance but there are bound to be times when we get too busy (a rural pace is not necessarily a slow pace).
This time of year things are ripening fast around here, like the corn and the veggies and the sour cherries. And the roses are blooming, although that has nothing to do with why the town is called Roseboom.
